It is a relatively expensive and labour-intensive process, but the improved mechanical properties increase the value of the finished product, whether that is a sheet, strip, or coil.
The complex will produce 1.6 Mtpy of quality cold-rolled strip products, of which over 600,000 tpy will be galvanized coils and more than 170,000 tpy will be polymer coated coils – for the domestic and European construction and automotive markets.
