I would like to motorise my manual coffee hand grinder without breaking the bank :) The hand grinder is got 48mm conical burrs and a 30-40Nm standard drill is not capable of moving the burrs with a fine grind setting. I'm aiming for something in between 100 to 150rpm max and I don't really need adjustable speed control, etc.
This is a small grinder operated with electric power. It can be easily carried anywhere. Grinding can be done by holding it in hand. It is used for cleaning heavy welding jobs.. On one end of the motor shaft, a grinding wheel is fitted and on the other end, a handle or switch for operating the machine is fixed according to our convenience.
Unscrew the top nut to remove it, the handle and locking ring. (Note: Most manual grinders have a top nut, but there are a few that do not!) coffee. Turn the grind adjustment ring, holding the central shaft in place as you do so. (Note: A clockwise turn results in a finer grind, while a counter-clockwise turn results in a coarser grind) coffee.
