What would be the appropriate speeds, feeds, and the depth of cut to cut chrome plating. He is holding on a tapered flange, which may be a problem too. I don't know. thanks.

The wheel you are using is a good general wheel for chrome. Here is the wheel I would recommend. SG5 60J made by Norton. This is a ceramic wheel, the best I have used for chrome. They are more expensive but worth the price for us. The norton 32a60 k will do the job and dressing the wheel a lot is a must with chrome.
