Details. Benchmaster milling machine wth mt2 collet set and bench. Everything works well, tight, and rigid for bench top sized mini mill. Just updating to answer a few questions. Motor is 110 single phase, 1/2 hp, 1725 rpm. Spindle speed is adjustable via the visible step pulleys. Overall dimensions are 59 tall, 27 wide. 32 deep.

Mikron F75 Milling Machine - Anglo-Swiss Tools To complement the T90 lathe, Mikron produced a superb small milling machine which has not been made since the 1960s. Built along the same lines as machines made for the American horological industry by firms such as Elgin, Hardinge or Ames, the Mikron F75 was originally a fixed head horizontal machine.
I use a Benchmaster at work just about every day. It is great for milling wood, brass, and aluminum. It's not that great for running cutters above 1/4", and not that great for milling steel. $100 is a great deal for one, and that one looks like it is in pretty nice shape. I have seen them go for over $1000 on eBay, when two people really want one.

Benchmaster Milling Machine I found this little milling machine in my father-in-law's barn. It is missing some of the horizontal components, and other bits. It does have its two motors and drive units. V-belt machinery isn't particularly interesting to me, except that (darn it), it works. I have a bunch of v-belt pulleys from Bill's machine shop.

I have a benchmaster vertical milling machine that someone has taken apart the spindle, can anyone let me know where I can find out what seals this machine uses, it has two for the top bearing and two for the bottom bearing, I measued the housing and spindle for size, but not sure about thickness.
The Benchmaster is a good little horizontal mill, but it is little. The vertcal head for these is rather limited IIRC. You can convert any of the smaller horizontal mills to a high speed verical head like the Rusnok. (1/4hp, "Y" collets up to 1/2", 280 - 4800 rpm, and 1.5" of quill travel.) I had one on my Benchmaster, but it was lacking in Z.
