You will need to run a screen to keep the material length short enough it does not bridge up in the mixer.

We feed 4-5lbs daily to cows to maintain throughout winter for beef cows along with free choice hay and a protein suppliment either in big tubs or QLF liquid. With ddg and completer and brome hay I had a feed specialist help me come up with a 14% ration as a maintainer. Speaking of grinding feed the 756 is hooked to the mixer.

The model 355 was the mid-sized model in the line when I bought mine, don't know about today. There were several options available; long discharge auger, hydraulic swing-out hopper/auger, and a hay table, to allow grinding hay/forage, along with various types and sizes of screens.
